Born and raised in New York, New York, Mr. Bernard Jeffrie Keller is a professional English teacher with over 4 decades of experience. He received his Bachelor and Master of Art degrees in English and English - Secondary Education from Hunter College. He holds a New York City license and is state certified to teach English. Mr. Keller is a three time nominee for "Who's Who in Education". Mr. Keller, considered to be a masterful teacher, has been selected by colleagues and students to serve as a keynote commencement speaker at graduations and as the featured speaker in other venues.

 

 

Mr. Keller has been an educator for over four decades in public education as well as in non-profit organizations. As a highly sought after English teacher and adjunct professor, he has facilitated professional workshops for elementary, high schools, colleges and school districts. Mr. Keller has created and designed innovative methods and techniques to teach comprehension of literature, parts of speech and essay writing. In 1992, he became the co-founder and supervisor of a free and voluntary, SAT preparatory program in East Harlem, New York. Mr. Keller is a celebrated and published poet. One of his popular poems is entitled: "Keep a Good Thought".

 

 

Mrs. Angela Elizabeth Sampson-Keller was born in Daytona Beach, Florida, and she grew up in New York City, New York. She received her Bachelor of Art Psychology degree from Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee, and earned 18 credit hours towards a Guidance and Counseling degree from Hunter College, New York, New York. Mrs. Keller went on to receive a Master of Social Work degree from Clark-Atlanta University in Atlanta, Georgia. She received her Master of Professional Study degree from New York Theological Seminary. Mrs. Keller is a New York State Licensed Clinicial Social Worker. With over 2 decades of counseling and clinical social work experience, Mrs. Keller has worked with children, adolescents, adults, groups and families in schools, hospitals and mental health clinics.

 

 

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Mrs. Keller strongly adheres to Strength-Based, Solution-Focused and Cognitive-Behavioral therapeutic models which have proven to be effective treatment modalities for addressing clinical depression, anxiety, prolonged stress, problems with anger management, vocational stagnation and low self-esteem. In addition, she is educationally and professionally qualified to work with individuals who make personal decisions to utilize their core spiritual values and beliefs to help achieve their stated goals and objectives in individual, didactic and group settings.

 

 

Mr. & Mrs. Bernard Keller have been married for 26 years.
